CnC Red Alert Master Class: Building 1

This post is the first in a series on how to play red alert at a pro* level. Whoever builds the most the fastest wins - Milo234 (2006). Building fast is the most important skill of Red Alert. Nobody ever consistently places their buildings down perfectly and probably never will (not even the very best pros). Even when training, it is very hard to do but in a real game with distractions it's currently impossible for humanity. Perhaps with some ai/genetic augmentation in future? An error is any avoidable delay. Here is a list of errors players make: Menu is far from building place (horizontally adjacent is best); Resolution is not set at 640x400 (higher resolution = less accurate); Slow clicking (you must click everything as fast as you can, all the time); Slow mouse movement (your wrist must snap when placing buildings); Slow menu scrolling (use your mouse wheel); Not using keyboard arrow keys for precise screen (and therefore menu) movement; Inaccurate building placement; and T

Sup homies, These stats are from JCFarmers site . Some players said they can't access it due to antivirus issues. Im getting different results using easy and normal settings.. i assume multiplayer is normal mode.. i believe all these tests were done on normal mode. Sup homies, You'll be pleased to hear that I managed to find the 1998 World Champion, DeepBlue, and he agreed to an interview! Presumably named after the computer which beat humanity at Chess. N8Diaz: Can you tell us a little about yourself and what are your first memories of playing Red Alert online? DeepBlue: About 12 years after the PGL tournament I moved to the UK, where I currently live. I've got a family now, and while I still love gaming it only happens as a secondary thing now. This naturally means competitive play is out of the question, as it requires a lot of dedication. I recall, with a degree of nostalgia, a lot of the experiences that came as a result of online competition, namely via Red Alert on TEN.
